The area

Almería is a province full of contrasts. Beaches are wide, sandy and long, coves are intimate and villages white and full of sun. The Tabernas desert and Cabo de Gata Natural Park will surprise you.  All less than one hour from us.  The Alpujarra mountains, a little further on, are a fantastic day trip.

For the more adventurous, the Alhambra, in Granada,  is just over 2 hours from the hotel.

Vera beach is a short 200 metre walk from Hotel Tikar.
